The commencement ceremony is a memorable event that features a keynote speaker, music, special awards, and the presentation of degrees. An informal reception with light refreshments follows the ceremony. Guests without military IDs will need passes to enter the Marine Corps Base and should arrive at least fifteen minutes early. The entire ceremony and reception lasts for about 1½ hours. The Fall 2015 Graduation Commencement will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at the Marine Corps Base–Hawaii chapel.
