Pacific Outpost of the 501st Legion
E komo mai, welcome, to the home of the Pacific Outpost of the 501st Legion, the Hawaii chapter of Lucasfilm’s preferred Star Wars Imperial costuming group. We are a group fans with a passion for costuming and enjoy sharing our hobby.
We believe “Why only collect action figures when you can be one.”
Our mission
The 501st Legion is the world’s definitive Imperial costuming organization. The mission of the 501st is threefold – to promote Star Wars, to celebrate its legacy, and to contribute to charitable organizations worldwide.
As indicated, part of the mission of the 501st Legion is to help charities. We consist entirely of volunteers; nor do we do this for any monetary gain. In fact, the 501st Legion is a US registered non-profit association holding a 501(c)(7) non-profit status. Our members dedicate time, money, and effort to combine their loves of Star Wars and costuming in order to help out those less fortunate than ourselves. The Legion has assisted hundreds of charities, local outreach groups, corporate events, professional and amateur sporting clubs etc. and we are proud to help in whatever way we can.
